Everything you know, on one map
Every note is a point and every link a line. Breef draws your notes as a map you can explore, replay and grow, so you see how ideas connect and where something’s missing.
A map that draws itself
You write and link. Breef draws the map.
Grouped and coloured
Each project’s notes gather in a circle of their own, and every note takes its subjects’ colours.
Focus on what matters
Point at a note and its neighbours come forward while the rest steps back. Pick one to see what it says.
Replay how it grew
History replays your map from its very first note, so you can watch what you know take shape.
Gaps, shown as ghosts
Topics your notes build on but you haven’t written yet appear as dashed ghosts, ready to add.
Questions
What is a knowledge graph?
A picture of how ideas connect: each idea is a point, and each connection a line between two of them.
Do I have to draw it?
No. The map comes from the [[links]] you write in your notes, and it updates as you write.
What do the dashed rings mean?
That a note is due for review. The longer it waits, the darker its ring, until you review it.
Is it free?
Yes. The map and its history are free. Suggesting missing topics is free up to 3 looks a month, and as many as you like with Pro.
